Ambition

Driven but feeling the weight

My first collection, Ambition Studies, follows Hito, a figure I created as a reflection of myself and the phase I’m in. This collection is my story: my ambition, my pressure, and the expectations I place on myself. In Deflated Dreams ambition grows so strongly it becomes overwhelming. In Monday Crash the pressure arrives too early the week begins before I’m ready, and the body still needs loading time. In Swallowed ambition, workload, and expectations merge into one force that consumes Hito, just as these moments sometimes consume me. Together, these works show how ambition can drive me forward, yet also become heavy to carry.

Beyond hito

Ambitious, not untouched by strain

Alongside the Ambition Studies project with Hito, I create works shaped by what I encounter in daily life and during my travels. Brief encounters, shifting landscapes, and unexpected details often become starting points. Sometimes it’s a moment of atmosphere, other times a fragment of texture or movement that stays with me.

These pieces stand apart from Hito: they follow whatever catches my attention on the road, allowing my practice to expand beyond a single narrative or character.
